Responding to Answering Islam

We receive so many responses to our site that no one person is able to manage them all. We are grateful for a team of committed volunteers who are willing to correspond with all those who have serious questions. We do our best to reply to each person who sends us a message. Please be patient; it may take some time before we are able to reply. Usually you should get a reply within a week or two.

We welcome your feedback. Your opinion is important to us. Your message to us will be read by at least one of Answering Islam's core members, though most emails will then be answered by one of our correspondence team volunteers. Due to the large number of emails in response to our site, we ask you to respect the following guidelines:

• Many of our articles provide specific email addresses for your feedback. Usually they belong to the author of the page and can be found by clicking on the name of the author. If you want to discuss the content of a specific article, and the article provides a feedback address, then please try first to send your message to the author, before you contact the general feedback address given below. If the contact with the author does not work to your satisfaction, then feel free to send your message to our main address. Remember to tell us why you are dissatisfied with the author's response to your questions or comments.
• If the article to which you want to respond does not provide a specific feedback address, or your question or comment is not in reference to a particular article, then contact one of the general addresses below.
• Be sure to mention the specific article, quoting the paragraph about which you wish to make a comment. Please also include the exact web page address. We have several thousand pages, and can give an appropriate response only if we can identify what you are referring to.
• Before you write, you may want to consult our Index to Islam which provides answers to frequently asked questions. Answering Islam Email Dialogs presents some examples of earlier correspondence.

  Use the above address if you want to ask questions about statements found on our site, register a complaint, offer an opinion, discuss Christianity, Islam or anything else not covered by the following two categories:

  • If you wish to contribute to Answering Islam (write articles, proofread, format webpages, pray for us, support financially, promote the website, etc.), then use the address provided on our page on helping Answering Islam.
  • If you want to inquire concerning the Answering Islam CD-ROM (ordering, updating, distributing, etc.), please use the address provided on our Answering Islam CD info page.

Please do not send us copies of entire web pages. First, there is good chance that we have already seen them. Second, we cannot respond to everything a third party has written. However, we are interested in your personal opinion. If you want to draw our attention to material published on the web, please send us only the page address, along with your comment, explaining your concern and why we should read that page. Thank you.

Our mailserver does not accept messages larger than 20 K. If you need to send us a larger file, please first inform us of what you want to send and we will give you a different email address to send it to.
