ALLAH IMPROVES OVER TIME

The Quran depicts Allah as a finite being who improves and gets better over time.

As an example of this point, Allah states that his recreating or resurrecting the creation is easier for him to handle than having first created all things.

And He it is Who originates the creation, then will repeat it (after it has been perished), and this is easier (ahwanu) for Him. His is the highest description (i.e. none has the right to be worshipped but He, and there is nothing comparable unto Him) in the heavens and in the earth. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. S. 30:27 Hilali-Khan

Note how some Muslim scholars explained this specific text:

Repeating the Creation is easier for Allah

Allah’s saying…

(And He it is Who originates the creation, then He will repeat it; and this is easier for Him.) Ibn Abi Talhah reported that Ibn `Abbas said, “This means it is easier for Him.” Mujahid said: “Repeating it is easier for Him than originating it, and originating it is easy for Him.” This was also the view of `Ikrimah and others. Al-Bukhari recorded that Abu Hurayrah said that the Prophet said…

(Allah says; “The son of Adam denied Me, and he had no right to do so. And he reviled Me, and he had no right to do so. As for his denying Me, it is his saying: `He will not remake me as He originated me’ — while originating the creation is not easier for Me than re-creating him. As for his reviling Me, it is his saying: `Allah has taken to Himself a son,’ while I am the One, the Self-Sufficient Master; I beget not, nor was I begotten, and there is none comparable to Me.”) This was recorded only by Al-Bukhari…

(His is the highest description in the heavens and in the earth.) `Ali bin Abi Talhah reported Ibn `Abbas said, “This is like the Ayah…

(There is nothing like Him) (42:11).” Qatadah said: “His description is La ilaha illallah, and there is no Lord but He.” (Tafsir Ibn Kathir https://www.alim.org/quran/tafsir/ibn-kathir/surah/30/26; bold emphasis mine)

It is apparent that Ibn Abbas struggled to make sense of Allah’s perfectly eloquent words and uncreated speech, which is why he had to add the fact that the origination of creation was easy for Allah.

The fact remains that the plain meaning of Allah’s statement is that the initial creation was harder for Allah to bring in existence than it will be for his renewing it. So no matter whether it was easy for him to create the heavens and earth, the Quran is still clear that it will be much easier for him to restore and regenerate them.

This may explain the following ayah:

And indeed We created the heavens and the earth and all between them in six Days and nothing of fatigue touched Us. S. 50:38 Hilali-Khan

That the Islamic god had to bother mentioning the point that he didn’t get tired after creating all things in six days is an implicit admission that it was indeed a strenuous and daunting task for him to accomplish. Yet in spite of it, Allah still managed to get through it without becoming overly exhausted or fatigued.

These Quranic statements are proof that Muhammad’s deity is not the one true God revealed in the Person of the Lord Jesus Christ according to the books of the Holy Bible, which the Quran itself confirms are the uncorrupt revelations of God.
